🏈 UNCLE JUDD’S WEEK 3 PLAYERS OF THE WEEK

Week 3 is in the books, and Uncle Judd has made his picks.

🔥 OFFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK — MALAKAI GOODMAN, BNL

When Bedford North Lawrence needed somebody to carry the load in a wild HHC opener at Jeffersonville, Goodman answered the bell.

203 rushing yards.
2 rushing touchdowns.
1 receiving touchdown.
3 total scores.

And most importantly:

BNL 42, Jeffersonville 35.

Goodman wasn’t padding numbers in a blowout. He was carrying the football in a game BNL had to have, and when Jeffersonville came roaring back in the fourth quarter, Goodman delivered the touchdown that helped keep the Stars in front.

That’s Uncle Judd’s kind of football.

🛡️ DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK — BROCK DEAN, BROWNSTOWN CENTRAL

You want to set the tone?

How about intercepting the football on New Albany’s first offensive play of the night?

Dean and that Brownstown Central defense never let up.

FINAL: Brownstown Central 54, New Albany 0.

Zero.

Not seven.

Not three.

ZERO.

Brownstown's defense came to work, and Dean fired the first shot.

⭐ HONORABLE MENTION — JACKSON JONES, BNL

Jones deserves some love too.

73-yard pick-six.

In a seven-point conference victory.

Oh, and he caught a touchdown on offense too.

That is what you call making your presence felt.

OFFENSE: MALAKAI GOODMAN — BNL ⭐
DEFENSE: BROCK DEAN — BROWNSTOWN CENTRAL 🛡️

Week 3 belonged to the playmakers.
